I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments in this post; before recommending any garage business to our members, FOXY Lady Drivers Club looks for evidence of ATA, the BSI Kitemark and ones that operate to the OFT-approved code of practice whether mechanical or bodywork repairs.

I think there is a need for informed and female friendly advice about SMART repairs and the safety importance of getting the job done by an expert. Perhaps we might work together on this in 2010, to air your obvious knowledge and expertise here?

As an aside, I have been horrified by some tales about vehicles that have been allowed back on our roads after accident repairs that clearly aren't good enough. Who signs these vehicles off and in some cases how did they get an MOT?

I'd add that quality standards always start at the very top of any organisation, so congratulations ooops.net for picking up and running with the female friendly business challenge with FOXY.

Next year we will be including a Female Business Ambassador network which sounds an ideal opportunity to mention Tania and reassure any local customers that you employ women in what is clearly a highly female-friendly garage in Poole.
